Discover Our Designs
Currently Palm + Pine is working on four custom build STR investment Luxury Cabins doing both Architectural Services as well as Interior Design in Broken Bow, located in the Ouchita National Forest of Oklahoma. We are also actively renovating a Primary Bath in the Texas Hill Country on Lake Buchanan, as well as a refresh to a Primary Bath in Liberty Hill, TX.
We are a design collective, and our studio loves to dabble in different design styles so every project is truly unique. We love to do Japandi Modern, and pivot back over to Aspen Transitional (and everything in between!). Jumping in and out of design styles and are not afraid of actually using color. We strive to create contrast with eclectic mixes of form, texture, and of course color. Our specialty is layering spaces to create mini experiences and is really where we shine for our Clients.
From the Palms... to the Pines...!
project: "AMERICAN OAK"
Based on traditional and transitional design styles, the client was naturally drawn to Americana. It allowed the latitude for generous eclecticism and combination of different design "sub styles" for truly unique king bedroom suites.
Recently completed in October of 2022, you can now find the home under the name "Hibernation Station" and book thru management company Marshmallow Memories:
project: "RED OAK"
This project is actually two in one! Originally Alyson was recruited to help with specifications and Interior Design for a complete "to the stud" renovation to the Kitchen. Project challenges included working in an existing footprint that was smaller than the Client would have liked, and making sure all materials were Commercial Kitchen durability.
Since the Client had an extensive collection of top notch cookware, we made sure the wood floor was actually a thru body porcelain, so IF any drops happened, and the impact lead to a chip, it would be almost undetectable.
Later we were called back to site to help Refresh the Primary Bath in order for the Client to sell. Services continued after the sell when Alyson designed a 100% custom sprawling European Farmhouse for the Clients located in Williamson County, TX.
project: "NORWAY SPRUCE"
Still under development... Norway Spruce is super exciting for our team. We truly believe it is breaking the mold, and will stand out in a fairly saturated market. Our clients have been nothing short of a joy to work with, and their draw to clean lines, Scandinavian modernism, and openness to pushing the envelope has made this one of our all time favorite projects.
Stay tuned! More to come in 2024-25!
project: "ASPEN I + II"
Still under development... Aspen I + II is a pair of cabins designed for an STR investor group. Since the actual location of the homes is still being decided, these floor plans were developed to assimilate in any number of vacation rental markets. The clients desired an "Aspen Transitional" style, combing classic elements of what we think of when we think of cabins, but with modern tranquility.
Every square inch of these floor plans has been scrutinized, only what's needed for comfortable function, but not excess openness to maximize ROI. All finishes, light fixtures, appliances, and general specifications selected by PALM + PINE.
Once built, PALM + PINE will also be handling the interior furnishing + decor scope of work. Furnishings shown are for design intent, actual sourcing to be completed once under construction.
Stay tuned! More to come in 2024-25!
project: "SUBALPINE FIR"
Brand new project to announce... SubAlpine Fir! Our Design Principal, Alyson, was inspired by a mixed media collage artwork of the Misty Fjords National Monument. That spurred an entire custom design for a new family / living room and coordinating king suite. You can definitely see how this project is going back to her roots; while we love to space plan vacation homes, we still love detailing out to complete the perfect space that you will love, and your guests will just have to instagram as soon as they walk in.

We can't wait to see this photographed!
project: "WESTERN LARCH"
Premiering with Sub-Alpine Fir! The works of famed photographer Ansel Adams were the design seed for Alyson for this custom project. But how to just chose one work? For this she focused on places she knew... Montana and Yellowstone. (Yep, we even thru in a few hints of our fondness for the show, call it Yellowstone Interior Design, but very subtle). Not shown is our soon to be specified "Dutton Bar" complete with classic decanter and low ball glasses. So ready for the gram!
